Principal's Message

It is with great humility that I thank GOD for the past 52 years of faithful service rendered by our Bethel Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

We remember our honourable founder, Mr. John Kesari, with a grateful heart for his vision, foresight and mission who with utmost dedication started this great institution in Velachery area, with the intension of offering value based quality education.

We also acknowledge the hard work of our beloved correspondent, Mr. Josewin Wesley, who is working round the clock to keep the flame alive and active. He is a firm believer in an educational system which emphasizes not only in academic excellence but also on character formation.

The school had a humble beginning in 1971 in a rented house. The foundation stone was laid in the year 1981. From then on, it marches ahead and continues to stand tall today owing to the hard work and commitment of teachers, who left no stone unturned in imparting knowledge, through value-based instructions to over 6000 students.

The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of their children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. I pay my gratitude to them for their faith in us.

I specially thank our teaching faculty members for joining us in the mission of raising happy, healthy and confident children. By working together, let us strive to produce a learning environment that is exciting, innovative and unique for students, equipping them to embark on this journey and to take challenges of the 21st Century.

The Golden Jubilee Edition of the school magazine ‘THE SCENARIO 2020’ is a milestone, that marks our growth, unfolds our imagination and gives life to our thoughts and aspirations.

It unleashes a wide spectrum of creative skills ranging from writing to editing and even in designing the magazine.

May God bless the school and all those who labour untiringly, to help us move ahead on the path of progress. Let’s learn from the PAST, live fully in the PRESENT and look forward with hope to a bright FUTURE. May the motto “Fear Lord, Grow in Wisdom” inspire all those who come into the portals of Bethel.
